The Barnsby Grip-Pad is a really smart, beautifully finished saddle pad made from quilted cotton that, once the saddle is girthed up, appears quite conventional. The secret of its success is an inner layer of porous matting next to the horse's back and an upper layer of neoprene, shaped to match the saddle profile. Together these layers hold the saddle in place, assisting both the rider's balance and horse's comfort.
